Terms of Service

1. What the Service is

League of Building is a tool for planning and theorycrafting League of Legends character builds. It provides calculations, stat modelling, and build sharing. The Service is provided for informational and entertainment purposes.

Not affiliated with Riot Games. League of Buildingis not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends and all associated properties are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Game data may be inaccurate or out of date, and the Service’s calculations are estimates. Do not rely on them as authoritative.

2. Your account

• You need a Google account to sign in. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the content you create, publish, or share.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights, using the Service;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure;
• probe, scan, or bypass the Service’s access controls, rate limits, or entitlement checks, or attempt to access data that is not yours;
• scrape or harvest the Service’s data at scale, or resell access to it;
• upload malicious content, or use published/shared builds to distribute spam, abuse, or unlawful material.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of the builds and content you create.
• By publishing or link-sharing a build, you grant us a licence to host, store, and display that build to anyone who can access the link or public page, for the purpose of operating the sharing feature. Anything you publish is effectively public. Do not publish anything confidential.
• You grant us permission to store and process your content as needed to run the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

5. Feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas, or bug reports, you agree we may use them to operate and improve the Service without obligation or compensation to you. Do not send us anything you consider confidential.

6. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices are shown in the app.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds and cancellation: when you subscribe to a digital service you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel, but you agree that we begin providing the paid features immediately and that your right to cancel is lost once provision has begun. After that, payments already made are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

7. Availability and changes

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations are accurate.
• We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, the licences you granted for still-published content continue only as needed to operate the sharing feature until that content is removed.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
